For a while my VW was leaking a little coolant. Naturally, it uses a "special kind", so I bought the expensive bottle and topped it off a couple of times. The reservoir was perfectly easy to see, but it was indeed hard to get the level just right because it would fluctuate. Anyway, the problem "went away", and a couple of years later while it was in the shop for something else, they finally found and replaced a hose or something and it's been fine since.

Cars. Go figure.

Wednesday morning greetings! Dishwasher is running and I'm about to walk 'round and 'round the basement. After a shower and lunch, Richard and I will go out to Mom's to visit and get her Easter decorations from her storage unit.

I just read the article and browsed the area on maps and Google Earth, and now I have a better feel for it. I always knew where Middletown is, but I'm actually a little shocked at how close DRs Ginny and Elmore's world is to my fifty million trips up and down I-71 and just off the Lebanon exit. Also, I've been over to Miami University and up and down the Springdale-Hamilton stretch a number of times, but I never connected all the dots.

It probably isn't too early to ask if we might somehow get together when I'm there in May. If we can't all get to one place at the same time, I can probably get to both of your areas if timed right. I could possibly do this on Thursday 5/14 and/or Sunday 5/17. Just something to think about.

Ah, you're way ahead of me! Thursday, May 14 would be better for us because the 17th is probably a Lima Sunday for Fr. Richard.

BTW, I was up that way last time there in early November. My dad thought I'd enjoy seeing Metamora, and he was so right. I love old canal regions, and found the whole area lovely. It was a great little drive.

There's a park just north of here where you can walk through a dried-up section of the bed of the Miami-Erie canal.

I saw BENEATH THE 12-MILE REEF at the Proctor Theater when I was a kid. It was shown as the Saturday matinee. Probably around 1960 or 1961. I loved Robert Wagner.

A Mini HHW Meeting in May would be nice. I haven't gotten the performance dates for the Accountants Musical...so I shall be looking for that.
