For a while my VW was leaking a little coolant.  Naturally, it uses a "special kind", so I bought the expensive bottle and topped it off a couple of times.  The reservoir was perfectly easy to see, but it was indeed hard to get the level just right because it would fluctuate.  Anyway, the problem "went away", and a couple of years later while it was in the shop for something else, they finally found and replaced a hose or something and it's been fine since.

Cars.  Go figure.

ASK BK

When you make Outside The Box episodes do you use a SAG contract or is it an exception like the 99 seat theater rule in LA (which I know they are trying to change)

Yes, it's done under the SAG New Media contract.

Wednesday morning greetings!  Dishwasher is running and I'm about to walk 'round and 'round the basement.  After a shower and lunch, Richard and I will go out to Mom's to visit and get her Easter decorations from her storage unit.

DR Elmore, thanks for posting the article that Jo sent.  Lots of development in that end of town.  Funny, we missed it entirely in the paper.  Hope it unfolds to your advantage very soon!

I just read the article and browsed the area on maps and Google Earth, and now I have a better feel for it.  I always knew where Middletown is, but I'm actually a little shocked at how close DRs Ginny and Elmore's world is to my fifty million trips up and down I-71 and just off the Lebanon exit.  Also, I've been over to Miami University and up and down the Springdale-Hamilton stretch a number of times, but I never connected all the dots.

DR Elmore, I wouldn't ask you to post an actual address on the web, but can you sort of pinpoint where the infamous house is located?

And DRs Ginny and Jrand64:

It probably isn't too early to ask if we might somehow get together when I'm there in May.  If we can't all get to one place at the same time, I can probably get to both of your areas if timed right.  I could possibly do this on Thursday 5/14 and/or Sunday 5/17.  Just something to think about.

Next time, DR ChasSmith, build a little extra time into your travel and we can meet for lunch!

Ah, you're way ahead of me!  Thursday, May 14 would be better for us because the 17th is probably a Lima Sunday for Fr. Richard.

We could meet in someplace like Greensburg, Indiana - assuming DR JRand has his car back by then  ;)

DR Jennifer - I watched DWTS last night.   I thought there were some really good dancers and a few not so much.  The girl who kept complaining about trying to dance with her big boobs can go home any time

I didn't like her either and suspect she will be the first (or second) to go home.

I really liked Derek and Nastia.  I thought that Val and Rumer were very good.  I also thought that Riker and Allison were amazing.  And even though they complained about his footwork I was very impressed with Michael and Peta.  I also think that Chris and Witney have potential.  There were definitely a lot of interesting performances.  I was shocked that the Shark Tank guy did so well.I was expecting him to be terrible. But i really hope that he doesn't go home on Monday. He was really good.

I thought that the girl with the boobs was terrible.  I thought that Suzanne Somers had a very tough week (forgetting her steps). I felt bad for Patti. She struggled so much in practice. I just hope that she is able to keep up.  I know that most people were really moved  by Noah and it is a nice story, but he was really not good.  When Amy Purdy danced she was surprisingly good.  Because Noah is missing his arm and knee i just don't know that he will be able to do very much.

BTW, I was up that way last time there in early November.  My dad thought I'd enjoy seeing Metamora, and he was so right.  I love old canal regions, and found the whole area lovely.  It was a great little drive.

There's a park just north of here where you can walk through a dried-up section of the bed of the Miami-Erie canal.

Swallowing some pride here to show you the photo that inspired my renewed commitment to diet and exercise.  I really wanted you to see my AAUW friends (plus one grandson).  The tall redhead in the back row on the right is our state president, who drove all the way from NW Ohio to spend the day with us:

I've never seen the movie.  Or have I?  But it seems like I've heard an excerpt or three from the score.  Maybe it was on some LP?  At any rate, this is excellent news and a no-brainer.

I saw BENEATH THE 12-MILE REEF at the Proctor Theater when I was a kid.  It was shown as the Saturday matinee.  Probably around 1960 or 1961.  I loved Robert Wagner.

For some reason I have seen a lot of public domain dvd's of Beneath the 12 Mile Reef.....someone must have been asleep at Fox that day.

Thanks to everyone for the condolences yesterday.  It was very comforting to read your posts, and I appreciate it very much.

My condolences, Jack.  I posted them on Facebook, but I don't believe I posted them here.

HA!  I just have to keep a watch on my coolant level....as DR CHAS SMITH posted....we shall see what we shall see.

I get to return to rehearsal this evening....so that is good.

A Mini HHW Meeting in May would be nice.  I haven't gotten the performance dates for the Accountants Musical...so I shall be looking for that.

Thank you DR TCB.

Here is the link to the service for my cousin.  Someone else already did the slideshow, so I don't get to do it.  I was kind of looking forward to seeing all of the pictures.

http://www.pearcefuneralservices.com/webcast/29478

There was a short one on FB....I hope it is NOT the one they will be showing at the Memorial.  It only shows each picture for a couple of seconds, and most of them are when she was sick.

Good morning. The dental appointment I was hoping I could postpone last week has taken place. The Novocaine is beginning to wear off.

I loved Barrier Reef as a kid. That was back when Wagner was in It Takes a Thief.
