Quote from: ChasSmith on April 11, 2015, 02:05:24 PMYeow! How did you do that in the first place?Oh no. Wait a minute. Did this happen while you were doing our favorite thing? --- EATING??Yes and it was just a piece of bacon and not all that terribly well done either. But ever since the radiation treatment my teeth have been bad. It's a trade off. ..great teeth in a corpse or lousy teeth in a live person; I opted for the latter

My flight was right on time. I guess it's best to fly early in the morning.
House-finding vibes to Jane and Keith. This is temporary housing or did you see someplace you think you'd like to stay?
Several years ago, my three cousins and I sold a California property that we owned jointly. I was living in Virginia at the time and my three cousins all live in Houston. Getting my three cousins to agree on anything--indeed, to even SPEAK to one another--can be a challenge. But they asked me to take the lead, which I was happy to do. Miraculously, they all agreed and that end of things went smoothly. Closing was the nightmare. The escrow agent arbitrarily divided our proceeds into four equal parts--because they were four of us, I guess--completely disregarding the contract, which clearly stated that ownership was one-half mine and the other half to my three cousins. She even sent out four checks, all incorrect. We got it straightened out, but I don't think that would have happened with an attorney conducting the settlement.
Toe vibes to Jane and Ginny.Vibes for good health all around.

Sometimes they are just an extra expense. In MA the lawyer created a few difficulties when we sold.
