Well, you've read the notes, the notes gave you the cold shoulder, and now it is time for you to post until the troubled cows come home.

Don't worry about the cows; they're all off taking a MOOC class.

I am currently reading a book by a former copy editor at The New Yorker (I know, I'm a geek!); Between You & Me: Confessions of a Comma Queen by Mary Norris. Anyway, I found this gem:

I once asked my boss how to make the plural possessive of McDonald's, and she very sensibly told me to leave it alone. "You have to stop somewhere," she said. We stopped at McDonald'ses'.

Good morning, all! This will be another Tams-Witmark day.  I want to get this full score for The Golden Apple assembled.  When I worked on the score for publication, I discovered two numbers in the 1954 Broadway orchestra parts that were used for Entr'Acte and Exit Music.  I created new full scores from those parts, but they've gne missing.  I have to rebuild them for the score.

Beyond that, I have no news.

Oh, yes!  Today is Eliza Doolittle Day.

Good morning, all.

Today feels like the first day of my life as .... something or other.  All of my little musical and other obligations are behind me, and I have the next couple of weeks to do any damn thing I want.  There's lots that needs to be done around the house, and I shall take pleasure in getting started on some of it today -- and also in working on or listening to whatever music I want.

DR Elmore, the Tams-Witmark works sounds interesting, as always.  But it's amazing to me that things like that can just go missing.  I know it happens in every profession, but when you hear about it so often in the areas that most interest you, it begins to boggle the mind.

Tonight we have our first cast meeting, and then I will be blocking Act I: Scene Four.  Because those are the people I have available.

Wednesday morning greetings!  I have a stay-at-home day to finish A Star for Mrs. Blake for tomorrow evening's book discussion at Lynne's.  Tonight Richard and I are going to a program at the historical society about the Treaty of Greenville.

Thank you for the update.  Can you relay a message back?  They should be able to give him something to help his stomach.

I did manage to get back to sleep last night :).  I still woke up multiple times during the night, however, they were all brief wakings.
