That is great news, DR Dan M. And what a thoughtful individual your regular driver is!

  • Dance, if it makes you happy.

And BTW, I, for one, don't want all of those doughnuts.

I just want some of them.  A few choice ones.  Maybe a dozen or so of my favorites.

Nice of you to share. I can usually only eat 15 or so myself. So, there might be one or two leftover. :)

  • A person should celebrate what passes by.

Well, it's time to leave work.  Off to Costco, then home.

Until later.

Addicted to Dancing on the Edge. And it really is great to see Jacqueline Bisset again.

Dan, you said that your Medicare kicks in next month.  You are too young to qualify for SS, so I assume you have been on Disability for two years?  Is that correct?

Yes, I received the notification with my Medicare A&B card back in March with the option of opting out, which I did not. I am on an Obamacare plan right now. My surgery will take place in June, which is when the Medicare starts. I am not sure if the plan needs to go away in favor of Medicare or if it can stay and act as a secondary payer. No one I've asked seems to know. So, as a fall-back, I will give both cards to the hospital for my file/records.

Great idea.  Let them figure it out.  They get paid to figure it out.  You just concentrate on recovering from the surgery.

Dan, before the start of next year, you should look at some of the supplemental plans.  I am on the plan through AARP.  It makes everything less complicated.  They usually have presentations in October and November.

Well, I am getting uptight about tomorrow's surgery.  So, I think I will go listen to some music.

G'night!

My neighbors--NOT the usual Noisy Neighbors--are having a very loud party. I'm hoping my NN can't sleep.

Can you hear it? It's hard to miss.
