I am a complete dolt. The choral concert was LAST Sunday. So we missed it. But the birthday party was very nice, and I made it home in time to feed the neighbor's puppy, which was a last-minute request this morning. I will try to snap a photo to show later.
The DH has been reading the new Madeline Kahn biography, and wanted to see some of her movies.Netflix has only Mel Brooks's High Anxiety, and Hulu has only recaps of some of her Saturday Night Live appearances.

If they are over to one side then I slow down a bit. if they have a dog or child then I have my hand on my brakes. After my shoulder injury my balance was off and I now realize how easy it is to step out to the side. Our real issue is with the bikes that don't slow down and you can feel the air as they zip by. As I expected, you are careful. If walking a dog I face traffic and keep the dog on the grass/tree side of the walkway.

Quote from: singdaw on August 02, 2015, 01:00:39 PMAnd, DR Jane, all the bikers along the path to the river DID use their bells to signal that they were passing.Minnesotans, on the whole, are very polite. That makes me happy. I would not have to be the crazy lady yelling"ring your bell".

Both my dad and one of my sisters cut their foot within the last 24 hours and apparently bled all over the place. I certainly hope these things don't run in threes.

Went to visit Mom today and took her 2 kinds of cookies - lemon crackle and oatmeal - from the Meijer bakery. She was pleased.
I'll have a lemon crackle, thank you.
