I futzed and finessed - lots of little fixes, then I made some Wacky Noodles, ate them, wrote a half a page of new material, then wrote two-thirds of the commentary.  Haven't been out of the house yet today.  Then I wrote four more pages and really need to write at least five to seven more tonight.

If I do another five to seven pages, then I'll have finished the current chapter.

DR elmore--Sorry about your troubles with the Post Office.  I had a very frustrating period of time with the USPS too.  It seems to be better since the old carrier is back.  But when I pick up my held mail after travelling, I always check each piece before I leave the post office.  I find mail for other people almost every time.

I gather that, in regard to this amazon mess, the packages do not come to my branch post office but to a main PO where they are put onto trucks.  After this ass makes no delivery attempt, the package is then taken to my post office for me to pick up. Well, I'm not limping over there to cart two cartons of God alone knows what size home. The driver should have left the packages in my lobby.  The fact that he has left no notice of attempted delivery makes me suspect it's the same driver for both days and that he's a lazy schmuck who isn't doing his job.

I want him dead. Along with the bitch at the post office who assured me the package from Monday would be re-delivere yesterday.

Well, it's time for me to leave.  A friend and I are going to see the new film version of Macbeth with Michael Fassbender as McB.  I'm sure it'll be very interesting.

Until later.

I do have a receiver here somewhere, DR ChasSmith, but it's in a box and it may be a long while before I find it again.       :P :P

Thanks for the advice, though!

Seven pages and time for a little break.  I'll definitely do another three to five pages and finish the chapter.

Sunday's football game between the local team and DR TCB's Seahawks is supposed to be played in sub-zero weather.

I didn't know you could have them installed if the car didn't come with it.

Yep it can be done!

We  are in a Mercury retrograde until January 25, so there will be problems with electronics and motor cars, and delays in communication.....

I have already had both!

Noooooooooooo I am going to be driving to Florida during that time

Winter is here!  It was in the 20s this morning and even colder yesterday morning.  But the temps warmed up during the day.  40s expected for the next few days.

It's supposed to be 72 here tomorrow.

Starting to watch Eric Rohmer's Marquise of O..., which I haven't seen since high school. It was one of the movies that made me a film fan and a Bruno Ganz fan. I later read and loved the novella. I wonder if I'll still like it.
