The movie was just under two hours, but there was a LOT of silence within those two hours and (again) a LOT of whispering. On the plus side, I thought that the cinematography was beautiful. It seemed to be very much a historical look for the setting. They were not clean, there was a lot of blood (some gratuitous, some not), they were outside in tents, and the shots inside actual buildings and the costumes looked period, for the most part.
