We actually had a few droplets of rain. What's the world coming to?

"A Little Fall of Rain." Isn't that how they put it in Les Miz?

DR Jane recently asked about my eyes.

I can now read fine without glasses (needed reading glasses before), as well as do things around the apartment. I need glasses to drive, though, which was the plan. As for the side effects of the surgery, I'd say that the headaches are slowly diminishing, but the other side effects remain, although minor.

Except for the side effects, which I hope will go away with time, I think your change in vision sounds pretty good.

DR Jane also asked if I write.

Yes. Professionally, I've done extensive technical and business writing, as well as a bit of healthcare. I also write for my own pleasure, but that may or may not be published.

This is interesting.  I have many friends who write for their own pleasure.  I think it is great you do so.

I am quite concerned about the snow forecast as Friday is the day we are driving to Florida  I would much prefer not to be driving in a blizzard

Finally finished the last chapter.  I found a nice way to end it - something came to me in the shower, which is why I took the shower.  And now I've begun the addendum.  It probably won't be more than three to five pages long and this book in manuscript form will probably come in at 240 pages, twenty pages less than the Hofstetter books, yet with more words.  Mushing on.

I am glad to read about the improvement in DR Jeanne's vision, and hope that the ill side effects may soon and fully dissipate.

I'm keeping an eye on the Friday weather forecast right along with vixmom.  I need the excitement to start late that night at the earliest.

I have just finished a new book.  Whew!  I'm sure there will be much futzing and finessing of the last twenty pages, but that's normal and I may even do some of that later tonight.  I'll be up by nine to print, the Xerox, then take to Muse Margaret.  I did write one line that came out of absolutely nowhere that almost made me fall off my chair, laughing.

Congrats bk on successfully completing your latest book.

I've been working on a few things. Who knows I just might pull it off.
