I've just been perusing that paragon website of conservative BS and bigoted propaganda, The Political Insider. Ridiculous hogwash.

TOD:  Does "Imitation of Life" count as a soapy melodrama?

If it does, then I'd say it's the gold standard for them.

Bonus announced, and it is indeed more than generous. Not quite as good as last year but still incredible.

Wow! That's great. Enjoy it!

Back from Doug's.  Adam Cates has had to drop out as choreographer of the LA show - he's assisting on a Broadway show, a last-minute gig that just happened and their out of town dates conflict with ours.  So, on the hunt again.

Good for Adam.  Not good for you.

Exactly. sorry.

I returned to my Thai torture sessions today. This was the first one since the surgeries. It wasn't quite as bad, which isn't saying much, but the recovery afterwards was much easier. I usually leave there feeling like I've been hit by a truck. This is apparently the norm. My back also felt a bit liberated. I'm very pleased. They are such hell to go through, but they do offer potential.

DR George, I'm sorry your mortgage interest deduction is no longer helpful, but how great that you're so close to paying off your mortgage. That's a fine achievement!

Flora Gordon, ex-wife of Bert I. and mom of Susan, passed away last night - she was in her 90s, so a nice, long life.

Sad to hear this.

I just finished the last season of Pie in the Sky, which went out with a bang.  after the tedium of much of Season 4, Season 5 was quite good.

I want to read a biography of Alexandre Dumas père.

Well, I need to leave now.  I'm going to be running the sound for Olympia Little Theatre's production of "Circle Mirror Transformation," and tonight they're having a paper tech.  It'll be the first time that I'll find out what's going on.

I met the director, Hannah, last year when we were in "Laughing Stock" together.  I think it's the first time that she's directed a show, but I think she's got some support, so it shouldn't be a train wreck. ;)

Be back later.

DR TCB - did all the local critics attend on opening night, or spread out over the first few performances?

If you need health insurance, and have enough income that you don't qualify for public programs, your last chance to buy private coverage, unless you have a qualifying life event change, is this coming Sunday at midnight!

Otherwise, you may not have another chance to get covered until next year.
