Horrible story, TCB. The next time you pull that stunt, make sure the steward is dashing. And no fist bumps.

It is a beautiful day here.....82 degrees....warm sunshine....

I was checking my bank account to make sure I could buy a new suit to attend a wedding on April 30 AND still give a nice wedding present.  It was iffy......

I was perusing the aisles of Goodwill and lo and behold, there was a nice 3-button Nick Hilton spring suit.....in my size.....  $10.99 less a 10% discount.  I don't think it was hardly worn.  The jacket pockets are still stitched.  The trousers fit....I think I will get a new shirt and tie....and I am set!

Of course the spring style this year is TWO button suits.....but I live in Indiana.

Iam stuck.  I am locked out of AOl, I forgot the password.  I can't get AOL to reset it, because I don't have a cell phone here at sea that they can send me a text message to reset it.

Does everyone have a cell phone now?  What can you do if you don't?

And I can't get to my e-mails.  After two weeks, I will have to nuke the account and start over.

Do you have it written down anywhere when you get home?  If not just try really hard to remember it.

Tom, does it have to actually be YOUR phone number, or can it just be A phone number?  You could have it sent to my phone (or someone else's here on HHW) and we could PM you the info.

Just a thought.

DR TCB, the difficulties you're having with AOL are the reason I switched to Gmail.  You have access to your email anywhere you can get on a website.  I had, and Richard still has, difficulties with Road Runner when we were traveling.

I also need to figure out how to stop Facebook notifications when I am reading.

When I first had my tablet, I had the Facebook app, but very shortly, I had to uninstall it.  It was just too annoying.  I can access it from a browser and it's fine for me.

DR Ginny,  now that I have begun reading My Antonia I  cannot imagine a woman narrating it.

I know, right?  George Guidall was perfect.

George Guidall is perfect on most every book he reads.

I think his reading of Beach Music and I Know This Much Is True are better than the books themselves.

DR John G, have I ever told you about the tour Richard and I had of the Recorded Books studio in NYC?  We got to observe George recording Nathaniel Philbrick's Mayflower.

Wonderful. I've even got a recording of a musical, Yours, Anne (based on The Diary of Anne Frank), in which he sings.

I didn't realize that he was in that.  I have that recording, also.  I remember when I first got it that Betty Aberlin was in it.  She was, of course, Lady Aberlin in "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood," and it was the first thing that I had ever seen or heard her in that wasn't MRN.

Playbill has an interview with James Lapine about his new movie, the revival of Falsettos and a new screenplay he's written for Sunday in the Park with George, the second half of which will apparently be very different from the stage version.
