We've been listening to "Pajama Game" to prepare for the reading performance we saw last weekend with Jason Graae, Jamon Kirsch, and Shannon Warne. It's a surprisingly wonderful compilation of songs. And the show was fantastic too - very funny!

And speaking of Jason Graae, I forgot to post a couple weeks ago that we drove to Palm Springs to see his newest cabaret show "Graaetest Hits!" He was his usual fantastic self and happened to mention our very own Bruce Kimmel's name during the show about three times. The show is a mix of his usual wonderful stuff along with a bit of new stuff. He's doing the show again on June 8th at the Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood, for those who live in the area. I highly recommend it.

Friday morning greetings! The only thing on my calendar today is a 2:15 haircut. Richard and I have 2 items to take to our framer and we also need to purchase a new walker for my mother. The brakes on hers are shot, posing a fall risk when she tries to sit on the seat.

I first saw the movie when it was shown one afternoon on Frances Farmer Presents, I seem to remember that Frances herself had nice things to say about the movie and Doris Day.

This critiquing or whatever they call it (there's a name I'm not remembering) is a new thing - they used to just come, see the show and then you'd know if you were in or out. This guy is kind of notorious, though, and rather silly.

I'm in rehearsal for High School Musical Jr today... all day.... it's going ok. It's always tough to do a musical with an entire class, 1/3 which has no talent, but the talent level is pretty decent this year.

Have you heard the Japan Tour CD? It's an American production but was performed in Japan. It has just Piano and Harp - with Harvey Schmidt at the piano. It's great for the orchestrations alone.

I am still a huge fan of TV's "Supernatural".

The recent Part 1 of 2 of the Season Finale was awesome.
