The library has the documentary Bill Cunningham: New York. So, I should be watching that later this week.

Watching Lucky Stiff. Very fizzy and effortless. Loving the music and all the surprises, such as Juliet Mills in a throwaway role as a secretary and Cheyenne Jackson as a somewhat sleazy nightclub singer. The visuals are also great.

I didn't notice Juliet Mills.  Guess I wasn't paying as much attention as I should have.

Ahh...I remember the scene but just didn't notice who was playing the role.

And I think it was the first project that they worked on together that got produced.

Many years ago, a little local theater did Lucky Stiff. They did a wonderful job. It was the funniest thing ever. I saw it somewhere else, and it was just awful.

Laura, I did find a copy of "The New Joys of Jell-O Brand Gelatin Dessert Recipe Book" in the mess of books. I'm going to keep it. You never know when you'll need a recipe for Jellied Prune Whip, Molded Tomato Relish, Jellied Avocado Ring or, most intriguing of all, Jellied Turkey Salad with celery, grapes and tarragon.

I just came across the best of the lot: Jellied Salad Nicoise.

It has tuna, tomato, French dressing, anchovies, egg, olives, green beans, bell pepper and onions all floating in Lemon Jell-O.

I'm watching the new version of The $100,000 Pyramid.  Michael Strahan, recently former co-host of Kelly and Michael is the new host.  He's pretty good.

The whole thing is more manic than the original and the set is all neon lights.

Well, I think I said something about my parents' neighbor having a stroke.  She passed away this morning.  They've been living across the street from my parents since 1959. Marian was an elementary music teacher and a piano teacher. When I was about 5 I called her and asked her if she would teach me to play the piano.  I hadn't asked my mom first, but when I did, she said yes.  So that's how I learned to play. There were a couple times at Christmas when their family came to our house. Her daughter played the piano and we had enough to have two people sing each part of the Messiah. We didn't do all of it, but it was a lot of fun.  Far from perfect, but it seemed ok. I have so many good memories about her.  She will be missed.

My condolences, Cilla.
