We've had tornado warning and thunderstorm warning.  The humidity is high and my joints are not happy.

And now we're home!  Actually we've been here for almost an hour, but we've been visiting with Rob, Mary Linda, and the cat.

Back from various and sundried tasks.  First, banking.  Then because I'm driving the Shermans tomorrow night, I went to the car wash to was the motor car, which hasn't been washed if five months - and it's gone, closed, an entire block about to be decimated to put up heaven only knows what.  That's car was two near me that's gone - I have no idea where another car was is.

Then I had a cup of clam chowder and a turkey sandwich.  I'm stuffed now, which means I think I'm losing weight.  I'll jog later.

Is spell check changing "car wash" to "car was" whenever it feels like it?

It sounds pretty ominous in Midtown, too.

I just finished listening to the Encores! cast recording of Paint Your Wagon.  I thoroughly enjoyed it!  I'd only heard the truncated original Broadway cast recording, and the last time was quite a few years ago, so this was like listening to a new show with a wonderful score and great singers. :D

And amongst the Thank Yous in the booklet:

Quote
...to gifted Encores! Music Director Rob Berman, who was the bedrock of both the production and the recording;...

And:

Quote
...and to Ben Whiteley, Josh Clayton, Mark Litvin, Red Press, Lily Alia, Beth Renoni, Vanessa Wise, Larry Moore and Bruce Pomahac, each of whom made an irreplaceable contribution to the show and this recording.

I really enjoyed the first season of ROYAL PAINS. I love the character Boris. I stopped watching when it became about Hank's brother and his fiancé. Waayyy too much of that for my taste. The scenery was wonderful, though. Made me want to move to the Hamptons.

Often when you get your blood pressure taken at the doctor's office they don't wait long enough for you to relax first.  The assistant at the new doctor's office today had me sit for a bit with my feet flat on the floor.  It worked too well, my pressure was 86 over 56.

We went out to get the 3 OTC meds that the doctor recommended for Richard's "allergies" and brought home a pizza for dinner.  Now that my driving duties are complete for today, I'm going to consume a significant amount of wine...

Good evening.
