Well, you've read the notes, the notes put the blame on Mame, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently putting the blame on MOOm.

Topic of the Day: I don't believe that I have ever seen any Rita Hayworth movie.

And speaking of the weather...it's 79.4°F up here in my bedroom right now. It's not the warmest that it's ever been, but it's kind of muggy, which is never comfortable.

I had a dream, I dreamed it for you, June. It wasn't for me Herbie. And if it wasn't for me, just where would you be, Miss Gypsy Rose Lee?

The new book of (mainly show and film tune) parody lyrics "21st Century Oldies Volume 3" is up on Amazon. Createspace did well for me on this one, and were a joy to work with, as seems to be their style.
https://www.amazon.com/21st-Century-Oldies-Presidential-Politics/dp/1535073896/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469101120&sr=8-1&keywords=fred+landau+volume+3
The book really doesn't take any political sides, but has fun with everybody involved in the foibles of current events.
If any of the HHW regulars want a free copy, happy to send one - just PM me your address (and if you end up liking it, an Amazon review is always appreciated.)

Yesterday's Ohio phone call still has me puzzled. I got to bed later than I intended, but I did sleep well.

Everything's ready upstairs, cats are in the basement, and I can sit back now and wait. I hope Godot doesn't get here before they do.

I just realized I sometimes conflate the names Rita Hayworth and Susan Hayward.
And having had said realization, I must segregate and better define them in my little mind once and for all.
I think THE LADY FROM SHANGHAI and PAL JOEY are the two I mostly know Rita from. Susan is I WANT TO LIVE, and off the top of my head I don't know what else.

DR Elmore, I truly hope the strange phone call portends better developments in the future than in the past.
