It was supposed to leave at 12:35 pm. The departure time was changed several times. We finally boarded at about 4pm, I think. Shortly thereafter, we were told there were weather issues and we wouldn't be leaving any time soon so passengers could get off the plane for a while if they wanted. I opted to stay on and then about a half hour later they asked everyone to get off. It was finally cancelled. Then the long wait for checked luggage.

The next available flight on Southwest is Monday. It arrives at 11 pm.

Luckily I have Delta miles and they have a flight that only required 12, 500 miles. It leaves at about 3 pm and arrives at 8 pm. I have to change planes in Cincinnati--hello DR Ginny!

I finished Anne Tyler's Vinegar Girl today. I am now watching a production of Taming of the Shrew as a palate cleanser.

It's a filmed version of the play with Larry Drake, Karen Austin of "Night Court," Bruce Davidson and Franklyn Seales as Petruchio.

The start is fairly good.
