George I didn't see your post-wasn't there until after I posted.  The offer still stands.

I'll have to take you up on your offer, Jane.  I don't have Danise's e-mail address...just her street address.  I'm sending it now!  (at about 6:55 p.m. PST.)

Thank you George.  I have received it and sent it on to Danise.  The fairy is very pretty and the message makes me laugh.

Yay!  And I just got a private message from Danise with her e-mail.  But if you've already sent it, everything's hunky-dorey!

DR George, please check your messages.

Hi again all.

I just finished watching one of the most disgusting shows I’ve ever seen.  It was called The Bachelor.  I only watched it because it was all they talked about on our local news and I tuned in to watch LOST only to find it was in its time slot.

The gal who "won" is from Tampa.

I'm sorry but what a joke.  I'll never watch that program again.

I am wearing jeans and a black t-shirt and socks.  Soon I will be wearing considerably less when I journey to the Jacuzzi.

Just finished watching Pursuit, one of those great ABC Movie of the Weeks, recently issued on DVD in a pretty average transfer by MGM/UA (what else is new).  Am now going to watch The Cameraman, un film de Buster Keaton, whose initials we love.

Today I have eaten only air hot dogs, a handful of cashew nuts, some dried apricots and two ounces of chocolate chip cookies, you know, the mini kind - probably the equivalent of eating two small regular cookies.

I saw Finding Neverland this afternoon, Dear Readers, and recommend it highly.  Mr. Johnny Depp, Miss Kate Winslet and Miss Julie Christie all give marvelous performances.  Direction, screenplay, cinematography, costumes and scenic design are all beautifully done.  See the film and learn about the genesis of Peter Pan.  And, oh yes:  bring a hankie.

I'm wearing a HOLLYWOOD REPORTER t-shirt with a sweater over it and gray sweat pants. I had on a coral long sleeve t-shirt earlier today because it was comparatively warm but it has since cooled off.

I guess I got a jump on holiday eating binges because I have been very bad tonight. I just had a rabid case of the nibbles, and I indulged instead of having a bowl of soup.

Try as I might, I could never quite get to WALK ON THE WILD SIDE today to finish it up. My invitation to a couple's home tomorrow is for 2 p.m., so I doubt I have any time to finish it until I get home tomorrow night. It might even Friday before I can get to it.

Updated photo of the church:

The cross is under construction inside the scaffolding. The walls will be covered with stucco.

I'm wearing grey sweat pants and a black top and jangly earrings. And a silky scarf. And slippers. This is my half-meeting/half-at-home outfit. I sort of half-changed, then gave up.
I had an excellent meeting today and then ventured into the madness known as pre-Thanksgiving. I think I now have everything I need -- and more.

Ah, the Prodigal Panni comes home.  And what makes you think that we don't imagine that you'll be returning THAT rug, too - for your fifth rug return?  You can't pull the rug over OUR eyes.
