I am not sure I could take an entire evening about Andy Cohen, who seems to be a parody of person himself.  And there should be some kind of consequences for creating and foisting the REAL HOUSEWIVES OF.... series of television shows on the world....making "celebrities" of some of these terrible women by manufacturing drama and chaos among them.....

I've never heard this said before, but I certainly take your point. BTW, one of the writers of RH lives down the block from a friend of mine. Very nice house, wouldn't mind having it myself. But that's not the sort of consequences you were referring to.

From Bruce
Quote
When I jog at night, I wear a very bright white sweatshirt, but I'm also extremely careful and VERY alert - I am not a jogger with ear buds - I am very aware of everything around me.

I expected the second part of this.  A white shirt is good.  I have noticed people here where little lights or reflectors along with light clothes.  They are definitely easier to see.

I see people crossing busy streets all the time while talking on the phone, ear buds in, and paying NO ATTENTION WHATSOEVER to what's going on around them.

Isn't that a city in NY state?

LOL!

I just spoke to my sister-in-law Jo.  The Macbeths are behaving really badly, and Randy is not in good health at the moment.  On the other habd, my niece Corby has been offered a fantastic job.  I am so proud of her.

On the first point - what's new?

On the second - vibes for Randy!

On the third - congratulations to Corby!

Randy's real estate listing:

They had two offers today.

Wow, I had no idea that house was that big!  Glad to hear there's some interest.  Do they have another place picked out?

Yep, it's too large for them now with the kids gone.  The original house ends where the porch is, and the living room and Rabt's bedroom on the first floor side were the additions to the old farmhouse, I think. On my last visit there, I saw a ghost.

Randy and Jo have learned - as I've known for ages - that the Macbeths are so treacherous that any deal with them had better be in writing.  And even then . . .

Well, I must be off.  I have to take a shower, get dressed, get something to eat, then go to rehearsal.  It'll be a shorter rehearsal again because now one of the actors is sick, and the show that she's in only has two people, so that rehearsal has been cancelled.

Be back later.

Had an early birthday brunch with friends today. The food and wine were good, the company outstanding.

They gave me some of the honey they harvested yesterday. It smells incredible.

Nice and yum.

DR elmore do you not like corn beef sandwiches?

No.

That explains why you could not suggest a favorite deli for it ;D

DR Vixmom, unless NY laws are different you are legally required to take a lunch break.  Instead of lunch, which I expect you eat at your desk to begin with, go for a walk.

A break? This is Vixmom's office. The hours Vixmom works violate at least the spirit of the labor laws, if not the letter of some of them.

That said, I agree with Jane that it's good to get up from your desk and get a bit of exercise, even if it's brief.

Yes, I expect the law is broken and DR Vixmom is not forced to leave her desk at lunch time.  I think it is time to demand a break for health reasons.

It hurts even more when it is a sibling.

The house looks nice.  Vibes it works out well with one of the buyers.

Before returning home we stopped for our flu shots.  I was going to get the quad until the pharmacist noticed our ages on the form and suggested we get the high dose instead.  At least he had to look at the forms to realize we are old ;D

I know I handle the quad just fine.  The high dose only has the usual three, whatever they are, but at a stronger dose.  I hope I don't react to it.

I didn't and am glad we did.  It is not a feel good movie but not a downer either.

As it turns out, every single news report yesterday and this morning put the accident at Moorpark and Laurel Canyon.  Well, it was nowhere near that intersection, it was in the 12800 block, which puts it much closer to Coldwater Canyon - the news is at an all time low.  No wonder I saw no trace of anything when I jogged ninety minutes after it happened.

Two-thirds through the commentary, made a smaller portion of Wacky Noodles, which I was craving (six ounces - 600 calories for the pasta itself), ate it and watched a harrowing documentary.  It was almost 100 degrees today - absolutely ridiculous.  I guess I'll do the shorter jog now or I'll feel guilty, then I'll finish the damn commentary.
