DR Ginny your photos are beautiful.  I apologize, I need to get some work done.  I will try and do it later if they haven't been shared yet.

DR Elmore, maybe you and I should buy our Christmas booze early: you for your Man From Philadelphia and me for my dysfunctional friends.

By the truck or merely the case?

I totally understand the need for more rum than what goes into the egg nog.

I like bourbon on top of the rum in my egg nog.

Yesterday, I went to see "Freaky Friday" at the Signature Theatre in Arlington, VA.  I enjoyed it very much.  The cast was terrific, especially Heidi Blickenstaff and Emma Hunton, who played the mother and daughter.  I thought the score was good.  It should be a hit with the "Wicked" crowd.

Glad to hear it.

Watching Pygmalion. I remember watching this in freshman English class in high school when we read the play and My Fair Lady together.

Wendy Hiller is just a treasure. .

The lines were more than 90 minutes long by the afternoon. The same was reported across town.

DR Ginny your drive today was lovely.  We are taking a drive tomorrow.  I am hoping the weather is good the next two day so our views are equally pretty.  We are visiting Ashland.  It will be our first time back since we moved.

When I think of restaurants in strip malls I don't think of something more casual.  That doesn't seem to be the case anymore.  We have made plans with friends, thinking I was clever I suggested they pick two restaurants and we would choose between them.  We ended up with one choice, yes we can say no to it but that seems rude at this point.  It is in a strip mall.  It looks clean and nice but rather bare, not a lot of atmosphere.  The kicker is, it is an expensive menu that you expect in a fancy restaurant.

I sure hope the food is good.

There is a restaurant we go to near us that is in the nice strip mall that is in the same complex as Fred Meyer, but once you walk in it has a warm atmosphere and brick walls which I like.  At least the room we choose to eat in, vs the bar side, as brick walls.

I hope the food was, too. Can't judge a restaurant by its setting.

Since it was requested:

Mr. Flu Shot (tune of Mr. Sandman)

Mr. Flu Shot
Bring your vaccine
Please swab my shoulder to make sure it’s clean
Then fill my system with cleansing serum
If there are germs I hope you’re gonna clear ‘em

Mr. Flu Shot
If I complain
That’s ‘cause your shot was not for the right strain
Sorry if I vent my spleen
Mr. Flu Shot, bring your vaccine

That is fantastic!!  Do you mind if I share that with my doctor?

I wonder how it compares to Mary Rodgers' original version.  I also wonder if she even finished hers.  I know BK recorded one song from it, but was there a full score?

Just a thought.

After dealing with the filing cabinets I need a break before I start pulling books to go.

Books to Gob

Either the title of my next novel or my next business.

Yep. Things I'm giving away if anyone wants them.  I'll offer them to Joshie and other friends first before I pitch them.

You might want to consider eBay

Thanks, DR John G!  We are enjoying this trip.  Tomorrow we're going to Thomas Jefferson's Monticello.

AARRGGHH!!  I'm still at work and will probably have to be here for at least a couple more hours. :P Tomorrow is the day where all the checks for our vendors are actually cut, and I need to finish up my reports before I leave tonight so that the business office person can start as soon as he gets in.  I'm not coming early in the morning.  Even if I could get up early, I don't know how long it will actually take me to finish what I need to finish, so it needs to be finished tonight.  At least this means that I'll be able to leave early another day this week. ;)

From Shaw to Mama, I Want to Sing.

Not a great adaptation of the off-Broadway show. But the singing is good. If they would just shut up and sing.
