By the end of the Mona Lisa episode and the POW suicide, Mrs Bligh became interesting to me.

LOL, I guess you did.

Happy birthday, Jane!

Thanks DR John.  I hope it is warm in San Antonio when we are there.  It is too cold here.

It's in the 40s and 50s most days. A few occasionally in the 60s.

I really thought it would be warmer.  Oh well.  60 would be very nice right now.

I always hope it'll be in the 60s at least. The Griffin freezing point is 70.

Binge-watching the show made me go back and forth on her.

Started watching the Sherman Brothers' Huckleberry Finn. I don't think I've seen this one before.

Got some leftover Krispie Kreme doughnuts, both chocolate and glazed. Will be making bread pudding. I'm thinking a chocolate peppermint sauce to go with it.

I'll try to catch up on Notes and posts tomorrow. I'm especially interested in DR Elmore's take on A PLACE TO CALL HOME.

I'm home and watching "Hairspray Live!"

Back from a wonderful event - everything kind of went perfectly.  Richard was delightful and he likes doing this with me because my questions always surprise him and take him to unexpected places and memories - all the musical numbers worked beautifully and I got to sing The Whimsey Works - I was the first to ever sing it, and after tonight Richard told me that I'm his favorite with the song.

I am the same way.  We bundled up for our long walk today and we're still cold.

Peppermint on bread pudding, hmmmm.

I'm enjoying "Hairspray Live!," but Ariana Grande really seems like she's in a different show.  Her singing style and her make-up is too modern.

I watched HAIRSPRAY tonight.  I really enjoyed it.  I think the highlight (for me) was the number between Harvey and Martin Short.  Truly delightful.

George, your snowstorm is now due at 7:00 p.m. in Olympia.  Probably only 1 to 3" of snow.
