Watched La La Land.  There's one of these every single year - Whiplash, this guy's previous film, was one when that came out - the film that critics and Hollywood types just decide is the "it" film and there's no stopping it.  Basically, it's very nice to look at, thankfully there's no dopey quick cutting in the numbers, and it has a certain amount of fun to it.  But the story isn't much and goes on for too long, it's not "really" a musical in the classic sense - it plays at it, yes, but the final third of the film has no numbers to speak of until the final ten minutes or so.  And while Mr. Gosling is game, c'mon - there are wonderful actors who can actually sing and dance - he gets by in the way Steve Martin got by in Pennies from Heaven.  Emma Stone is a good actor and I enjoyed their performances, certainly.

I thought I was feeling well enough to go visit Sandy, but I am hurting pretty bad tonight.

I think that all of the TV shows that I have watched  this year are older series.  Nothing new from this season.  I did try BULL, but I didn't care for it.

Yesterday's final show didn't provide the closure I wanted, but I will deal with it.

I suppose I should have broken those down individually, but I am just feeling up to reviewing all five pages.  But I do appreciate all of the good wishes.

We have lost one of our guests.  Apparently they didn't wish to share their Christmas wishes.

DR TCB, I'm sure your back pains demoralized you yesterday, but I'm sure you gave a sterling performance.  You're a trouper.

Thanks, Larry.

Yes, we'll get signed copies to the Indiegogo folks - but you'll have to send me a PM about it after we announce.

Thanks, BK!

Oh, wait, I think I'm supposed to believe in fairies. Isn't that the quote from Peter Pan?

I have to believe in fairies...I know so many!
