Congrats, BK, on the Muse Margaret's (shall I say it?) rave about your book!

Tom, that's great news about your new cast members fitting into your show!  I've only been involved with a couple of shows that needed people to take over roles, and they too have fit in quite well...most fortunately.

The guy that joined the cast is actually closer to the right age for the part.

Last night, I ushered for the national tour of STOMP.  It was practically a completely sold out house!  And it was fantastic.  It was just the eight performers percussing, but it was so inventive and exciting.  A great show to see...especially for free! :D

Was it the same show you saw on Broadway?

It actually was in Greenwich Village, so it wasn't on Broadway, but tonight's show was very similar to what I remember.  One of the house managers tonight said that this show was revised from that original off-Broadway version.  I don't know how it's different, though.  I saw it 21 years ago.  They have three different DVDs, and I think this was/is their main show.

Did you buy the DVD?

No.  They were only selling the 3-DVD set, and I didn't find out how much they were charging.  It's $39.98 from Amazon, so I would assume that it would've cost more at the theater...which is the way it usually is.  I was looking on Amazon and individual new copies of each of the 3 DVDs could be gotten for a total of about $25.

BK

Ever thought of bringing your files on an USB drive to Staples and having them print out from that so that way you don't have to print a copy for them print from and you wouldn't have to rush back home to print missing pages?

Good news about Muse Margaret and The Book.  HOWEVER, I don't think there will EVER be a book with such a stunning and heart breaking reveal as BENJAMIN KRITZER and the letters......  It still kills me.....

DR TCB I have been to that competition a couple of times.....with one play we won the state competition and then the NATIONAL competition and went to Ireland.....it was great....my only overseas adventure!  We didn't win anything there, and half the cast wasn't speaking to the other half by then....

The director had had it with most of the cast members by the day of our rehearsal.  He called it for 10 a.m. in a room at the hotel.  There were three of us who were always on time....and the rest were not.....  At 10:03 a.m., he stood up and announced to us...and the rest of the cast who were getting off the elevator:  "The rehearsal is canceled - go do what you want to...."   LOL.....the four of us rented bicycles and rode around the town.  It was lovely...

I wonder what that dream was.

The past few nights' dreams have been fairly fleeting.  And no epics.  Those I usually retain for a day or two.

Ah, a Monday.

Well, today is battery day, and there are a couple of other errands that must be run.  Other than that, I'm at home and should be spending the better part of the day in the Music Room.

BK,

Have you been spying on my computer?

How did you know what the next play in THE HOLLYWOOD LEGENDS collection was about?

 ;)

I was in bed nice ad early last night, and between the heat and God only knows what, I could not sleep.  At 7:00 this morning, I moved my therapy to tomorrow and went back to bed.

Around 10:30 I will head down to City Center.  Joshie is back from his LA-Las Vegas holiday, and we have four weeks until the orchestra reading of the n early-finished New Yorkers.
