Eating seafood with chopsticks - YUM!
I had a kitchen boo-boo tonight. The stuffed bell peppers came out faboo, with a paprika-tomato sauce. The boo-boo came when I went to ladle some of the sauce onto der B's plate. I'd used a saucepan with an ovenproof metal handle for baking the peppers, and had made sure to use a potholder when taking the saucepan out of the oven. Unfortunately, I forgot to continue with the potholder when I grabbed the handle to tilt the pan to reach the sauce.
OUCHERS!
My fingers are still smarting from that mistake. Kids, do NOT try this at home!
(The stuffing was magnificent, by the by. A mix of sausage, ground beef, onion, mushers, some tomato, some hot peppers, some oregano, pre-cooked rice and parsley.)
