I have successfully learned to convert an AIFF audio file to an mp3. Sometimes, when I decide I am completely computer illiterate, I surprise myself.

I think my best method (so far) has been to load AIFF or WAV or whatever kind of file I have into Audacity, and export it to MP3.  (It's not a Save As, it's under Export.)  If I recall correctly, you choose MP3 first, and then it lets you choose the bit rate and quality level you want.

I still need to learn how to separate an mp3 file into tracks.

My idea was, again, to do it in Audacity, and it looks like they've actually thought this out.  I have NOT tried it yet myself, but I'm delighted to see they have a method:

Sunday afternoon greetings!  I went to church today with Fr. Richard, who quoted me, of all people, in his sermon:  "Somebody has to be Martha!"  Now all the parishioners there think my name is, um, Martha...

We went to First Watch for a nice lunch and he's about to crash after doing 2 services in a span of less than 18 hours.

The Darling Daughter's going to see the play today - not sure I'll sit through it but I'll meet her after and we'll eat.  Unless I just decide to see it.

DR Ginny, I learned today that Jim Goetz hardly ever uses the only email address I have for him.  He says he never got the invitation to our party.  How pathetic.

Travel vibes to DR John G.

I hope you can break the drive up a bit. Get out and stretch your legs--that sort of thing.

You'd think he would notify folk when he changes email addresses!

Still home.  I decided to write the Kay Cole patter and get that out of the way.  I'll mosey on over to the theater around three-thirty maybe and watch the end of the play or I'll just get there at four and gather up the Darling Daughter.
