Well, you've read the notes, the notes could not shake the damnable cough, and now it is time for you to post until the coughing cows come home.

I was just about to post this last night, but I missed it...again.  Anyway, I still had the quoted part in the quick reply box so here it is:

I was wondering what are our DR'S favorite Bette Davis movies???

Dark Victory
The Bride Came C.O.D.

When I first glanced at this, I though you has posed, The Bride Came O.C.D. :o

Tom, do you go to Taco Time very often...and do you go to Costco?

The reason that I ask is that I go to Taco Time and I buy gift cards for them at Costco.  You buy $50 worth of cards for only $40!  That's a 20% saving right there!  And if you go to TT often enough, the savings add up, and the cards never expire (some cards you can only get at $100 worth for $80...but it's the same ratio).  I also have been getting gift cards for myself to Red Robin and Meconi's Italian subs (they're local to the Olympia area) for some time now.

If you buy the same gift cards at Fred Meyer, you pay full price AND there's usually a $4.95 extra charge, but not at Costco...if you go there.

I go to Taco Time about once a month.  I have not gone to Costco since I have been in the wheelchair.  Why do you ask?

I have never paid an extra charge on gift cards, except for the Visa gift cards.

Maybe that's what I had gotten before that had an extra fee, but there's definitely otherwise no discount.

So, Costco discounts the gift cards?

Yup...and they have other cards, too.  Those three are just the ones that I get.  I think the movie ticket gift cards/certificates are not discounted, though.

I would certainly use a Taco Time gift card, and maybe Red Robin, too.

Have you not gone just because you're in the wheelchair, or have you let your membership lapse?

Now I have let my membership lapse, but basically it was too hard to shop there in a wheelchair.

If you want, I could buy you the cards and send them too you...sadly, not the hot dogs, though.

My brother-in-law buys the big box of coffee pods for me, once a month, so I can just ask him to pick me up a gift card.  But thank you, anyway.

What's great about the Meconi's gift cards is that on the back of every Washington Center ticket is a coupon for either $1 off a half sub sandwich or $2 off a whole!  And with the 20% off from the gift card, that can be a 40% discount!  Score!

I did not take the day off.  Too many people already asked for the day off, so someone has to mind the fort.
