Have you all been following this Mandy Patinkin thing? It's hilariously not hilarious. What a world. The producers of The Great Comet, being who they are, decided to bring in Mandy Patinkin to boost the box-office for three weeks. Crass, if you ask me. Well, the actor currently playing the role probably wasn't too happy about it, if you read between the lines of what he posted, and he said he would not be returning to the show after Mr. Patinkin leaves. But since that actor is what the politically correct idiots call a POC (person of color), naturally other POC actors cited their outrage all over everywhere. Meantime, Mr. Patinkin had no idea they'd asked the other actor to leave for Mr. Patinkin's three weeks or that that might be upsetting to the actor, and for THAT reason he dropped out today. Everyone is, of course, continuing their moral outrage about the racial aspect of replacing a POC with a POAC (person of another color, white, you know, being a color and all), only these people are such morons that they don't understand that a POAC (read WHITE) created the role on Broadway - Josh Groban. In fact, the producers should their diversity by replacing him with a POC when they did not have to. In fact, the role has never been played by a POC until the actor who's doing it now was cast. So, I label all these idiots POS, if you get my meaning. And when did "optics" become the word of this year?
