It’s weird being the same age as old people

I, too, must put gas in the motor car so the tank is full for the trip to Coachella.

Motor car has been filled with gas and I'm listening to the Duke at Tanglewood with Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops - for a live recording, amazing.  All the hits all the time, but what hits and with a symphony orchestra to boot.

I have to say, The Mooch is one of my all-time favorite pieces of music.  I HATE to say that the first time I ever heard it was in the movie The Cotton Club.  I was uneducated, Ellington-wise, and had never seen Ain't Misbehavin'.

I like both Fred and Jack's take. Though after the past week, I don't know that I ever want to hear Both Sides Now again.

I really like Susan Egan's uptempo version:

I am relaxing.  Robert Yacko called and said the run-through for lights and sound went very well - he also said I'll probably want to adjust a few things, and knowing me I probably will.

Last week (or was it earlier this week?), my friend Kris (stage manager extraordinaire and former TAO board member) asked if I would be able to run sound for Olympia Little Theatre's next production, Silent Sky

I don't have anything specific coming up, so I told her, "yes." :)

HERE is OLT's list of shows for this season.  Silent Sky is the second one down.

I didn't know who was the director, but I just saw THIS article about her and the show!

So, I was checking out FB (it's been a while), and a friend posted this article:  How A German City Found An Absolutely Genius Way Of Handling Neo-Nazis.

Take 2 minutes to watch the video and read the article.  It's a great idea!
