T.O.D.

Did the second pressing of the FOLLIES remix sell as well as you hoped?  Do you still continue to have people buying it?

Well, I guess George is still hiding out at his sister's house.  I guess I might as well go to bed.

Well, I guess George is still hiding out at his sister's house.  I guess I might as well go to bed.

I came home at about 9:30 or so, but had to do some stuff on my old computer which can no longer access the Interwebs.  When I came upstairs to work on my new computer, I had to pay my property taxes (literally filed at 11:59 pm!), and renew Theater Artists Olympia's nonprofitness.  That was filed at about 12:40 am (it was also due on October 31), but fortunately there's no penalty for filing late. :)

Otherwise, I spent the evening at my sister's house with our parents and their friend Mona.  We played Phase 10 (I lost...again) and had pizza for dinner.  I took home the leftovers that had meat (one pizza had only pepperoni and the other was a combo with at least sausage).  My sister and niece kept the veggie pizza leftovers.  We're both happy with those decisions.

I am pleased to announce that the audio edition of my play, GABLE, is now available for download at audible.com., Amazon and iTunes.  George Utley delivers a magnificent performance as Clark Gable in this production of my original stage play, which has been enhanced with music and sound effects.

This will be a laundry day.  I don't go to City Center until Friday, so I'll putter around the apartment with Annabelle.

The new John Latouche biography arrived yesterday.  I read the chapter on Candide, which had a few errors about the music.  Annabelle remained uninterested, since she's hung up on the Brigadoon score at the moment.  She's not bad at singing "Waiting for my dearie," but the fast lyrics for "My Mother's Wedding Day" are too much for her.

It's piano work for me all day.  Working on this holiday revue, getting the songs into my fingers.  First rehearsal in five days.

DR Elmore, sounds like it's time to pick out a suitable voice coach.  Get her started in her training before bad habits set in.

I cannot believe it's the first of November.  I feel like we barely had an October.  But November?  Isn't this the month that has -- you know, Thanksgiving in it?  What the HELL?

Speaking about Annabelle, last night around 11, she was playing in her little tent bed when she suddenly freaked and ran madly across the room.  I can't describe this well, but she was puttering about, then suddenly looked up, stopped short, and then bolted. When she calmed down, she crawled into bed with me, lay there a bit; then she looked past me, her eyes got huge, and she bolted from the bed and stayed in the bathroom for a while.

I think she met the apartment ghost. It was really unsettling.
