Monday morning greetings!  Today is the beginning of a very busy week for me.  All 3 organizations in which I'm active have events this week and Richard and I have some joint things on the calendar, too.  First order of business today:  pop the corn so that I can make my first batch of caramel corn tonight for this weekend's holiday bazaar.

Is anyone planning to see this BRIGADOON at City Center this month?

I see "not available" (yet? or sold out?) ( https://www.nycitycenter.org/pdps/brigadoon/ ) for all shows except the opening night gala ($2500+).  But I might be able to go on that Friday night or one of the Sunday shows.

I need to tidy up, clean the litter and pick up.  Annabelle's like a hurricane; she jumps onto a table and things scatter.  I am determined to rid the apartment of a 4-drawer filing cabinet, so I need to do some serious sorting and eliminating this next week as well.

What will you do with the filing cabinet?  Put it on the street?  Does Val have a use for it?

That's interesting.  I will inquire about that today.

I think Val would like to have it.  I would like to open up some more apartment space.

Last night I received news that one of my great theatre guides passed away.  He had been instrumental in getting the barn and property that was later turned into our theatre....he started the second year of Putnam County Playhouse - then known as Greencastle Summer Theater....in 1963....

We did many shows together....I joined in 1979.  We didn't always see eye to eye....but we always had a good time....we directed each other in many productions.  He served many terms as President of our Board of Directors.  Although he was no longer on the board, he came to all the shows I directed and was in.....  I cast him as Arvide in GUYS & DOLLS a few seasons ago, it was his last time onstage.

Arrangement should be known today or tomorrow.  I am working on a story for the website.

Life is short!

The car is going into the Brake Place this morning....we shall see what that costs.....and how long that takes.

Hopefully I will have it back for the flurry of activity and driving that will accompany my friend's services.....

We had a round of find the fishie at Annabelle's insistence.  I realize that because this fishie can also fly up into the air, she might think it's a bird.  Is this her outlet after watching the birds on the fire escape?

FJL - all I get here besides the occasional DGA or other union mail is junk and I see no need to forward.

I've been cleaning out DVD drawers and Annabelle either crawls into the drawer when space opens up or she crawls into the empty storage carton and lies there while I'm trying to full it with unwanted DVDs.  She has been fired.  Val came by and that cheered her up.

On the kitten front, Annabelle will be getting on Wednesday a new little brother, Thatch.  At the moment, she's not excited at all.  I think she's still sulking about being fired.

I have no photo of him.  I'll see if I can get my neighbor Judy to take one.
