And now, I'm off.  The Olympia chapter of PFLAG is showing the documentary, "The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson."  My friend Margo and I will go to dinner first, then go see the movie.  It'll be free, but my sister (who is on the PFLAG board) said that they might take donations for another disadvantaged filmmaker, who is also making a documentary about Marsha.

Until later.

Well, the movie was very good.  It was sad and frustrating and enlightening.  The movie is streaming on Netflix and someone on the PFLAG board was able to get a disc.  I think that they actually got the disc specifically to be able to show it to a group.  Highly recommended.

Where did you go for dinner, George?

Margo and I went to Mercato Ristorante.  We both got the Caesar salad.  It was delish.

I actually bought gift cards for Mercato's at Costco!  You buy two cards with $100 in value, but they only cost you $80!  AND Margo had a 10% off coupon, so I paid the whole bill and Margo paid me her portion, and we both saved around 30%!

I thought I could coax him out with dinner, and it worked, only he ran back under the shelf.  He was licking the food off my fingers when I put them under the shelf but he wouldn't come out while I was there.  What I want to do is catch him and put him back in the carrier that brought him here.  I will need it to carry him off, if this does come to pass.

S friend suggested that I put him in his carrier, Annabelle in hers, and leave them in a room together to get used to each others scents and presence.  It can't hurt at this point to see what might happen.

Years ago I had read something like that...that you separate them but allow them to see and/or smell each other so that they can learn and get used to each other.
