THE LAST NIGHT AT THE OLD HOUSE

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were the last notes written at the old house, and now it is time for you to post until the last cows at the old house come home.

Today I'll nail down the rest of these songs in the revue.  I got the main offenses corrected (mainly bad notation, which was mostly the fault of the old software) and now I must drill a few things into my own head and hands for this evening's rehearsal.

In addition to that, I'll be doing a load of laundry.  Exciting!

Well, it happened again.  I'd stopped at the supermarket for three (3) items yesterday afternoon, and a fourth magically appeared in my basket as I was checking out.  It was a small bag containing three attractive little doughnuts.  So this morning I am doing the honorable thing by them, and I'm already on my second cup of good black coffee.

So, it's The Last Night at the Old Dark House Down the Lane.  Or something like that.  Here's hoping all goes well with the rest of the move, and with the show.

Maybe I'll think of something brilliant for "We're On Our Own" day at some point.  I'm fairly blank right now.

I had no idea this morning if I would go into the bathroom and find a dead pussy cat in his carrier, so I approached with much trepidation.  I heaved a huge sigh to see two bright orange eyes staring back at me. His washed coat looks beautiful and while i was with him, he had a big meal of Fancy Feast beef in gravy with two kinds of dry food before he used his litter box and stretched and ran around,  He actually let me hold him this morning, but he gets panicky and the claws come out when I try to put him down.

While I'm in the bathroom with him, Annabelle makes a huge effort -  from mewing to throwing herself against the door - to get in.  When she pulls this, Thatch stops eating, starts sharpening his claws on the litter mat, and crouching in a defensive position.  When she stops, he calmly goes back to his food until she starts up again.

So, today I must vacuum under those bookshelves and remove as much residue poison as I can, clean the litter boxes, and begin my second piece for London.  The laundry is in the washers and nearly ready for the dryers.

The Animal Project is bringing over a sturdy cage so that Thatch can have a safe place with more room than his carrier to join us in the living area today.

This morning I am taking my Mom furniture shopping as she wants some new living room furniture.  We have looked at the website and know exactly what we want....well we narrowed it down to two styles...so it shouldn't be too painful!

Forgot to say yesterday that I think this is a great idea.  Will be VERY interested to hear the full report.

Laundry is finished, trash taken to basement, bookshelves vacuumed and access closed off, animals fed, I've finally eaten and taken my meds, and Annabelle is napping in her amazon box.  All that's left on the list is the litter box issue.

Tuesday morning greetings!  I'm having lunch with Rebecca today.  Haven't seen her for more than 2 weeks, so we have a lot to catch up on.

Got my lab test report just now.  Everything looks normal except the blood sugar level went up 5 points.  Damn!

In other news, I can't access anything on MTI's website past the front page.

Search, at least, seems to be hosed.

But I've experienced intermittent problems elsewhere, too.  Been a weird week on the web.
