Well, you've read the notes, the notes were the first notes from the new house, and now it is time for you to post until the new cows come home.

If we are all going to continue to be invited into your living room every day, we really do need to see some photos of the place.

Agreed...but when it's ready, of course.

So, here’s a little Thanksgiving horror story for y’all.

Please, never serve me Frozen Jellied Turkey Salad.

I hope that link works.

Looks like it doesn't like the apostrophe, because from there you have to copy and paste the rest in.  Or just copy and paste the whole thing in.

Not that the universe is going to thank me for that tip.

I must say, however, that while it's been years, I always loved Birds Eye creamed pearl onions.

Toss in fresh mushrooms to those and they were an extra treat.

I didn't get to bed until nearly 1:00AM, so I slept in until 8:00 this morning.

It was a very quiet night.  Around 6:00AM, Annabelle left her amazon box to crawl in with me.  There were no fights between the two at all, which was an unexpected surprise.

Between 8 and 9, I rearranged Thatch's new home, cleaned his litter, vacuumed the floor, and gave him new feeding dishes because the plate I had been using took up too much space.  Last night, he wouldn't eat in front of her, and this morning, he had issues with that at all.

I also vacuumed the floor, fed Annabelle, cleaned her litter box, and washed out the large litter box Thatch had beem using while he was confined to the bathroom.  The bed is made, and I'm ready for a nap.

Annabelle's attempts to pet him continue, but she's also busy with her birds, so that pleases me.  I wish I could let him out to play, but I am not in the mood for another round of kitty in the hole.

At some point this morning, I need to make a trip to the Petco where I found Thatch and pick up some kitty treats, although I could hold it off until tomorrow on my trek to and from my dermatologist for a paranoid melanoma exam.

Yum. Mom always made creamed onions for dinner parties.
