BIM has been revealed as

Bugalew International Music

but I can't find anything else. Is it a Web site? I can't find it on-line. I assume the apple drawing is somehow connected to BIM.

What's the story Morning Glory? What's the tale Nightengale?

Just for clarification.  Re: posting pictures in a separate thread. It was NOT me who suggested that.

Actually, I was the one who suggested the separate site for photos yesterday.  I was only trying to suggest a compromise that would satisfy all of us.  I wasn't trying to cause trouble -- honest!  I love photos, I love smiley faces, I love HHW, and I love, love, love each and every one of you!

DR TCB wins the Congeniality Award, given by the contestants themselves, so that makes it very special!!

JRand:My dear man, you have WAY too much time on your hands (this from me as I just listened to that little ditty). What is that from. The voice sounds familiar. I'll probably kick myself when you tell me.

I didn't think you were trying to cause trouble.  I thought it was very nice of you to try to find a way to satisfy everyone.

Btw, I love that flashy smiley!

For those picture lovers, check out the picture in my previous post, advice also to those curious about BIM (the pic is a clue).

And now for photo lovers in general, and one particular DR who has been seen with this beauty. . .

DR Ben - click on this link to revel in the awfulness of The Apple

And know that unless you Hear and See it for yourself - you have not experienced BIM!

Ben - it's from the Bugs Bunny "Little Red Riding Hood" cartoon, and the name of the singer escapes me right now.

Okay let me try this again.
 My first
attempt had font sizes written all over it.

Very bizarre!

I'm gonna let this go thru. And maybe someone can explain why these font thingies appear. I'm using Times New Roman, font size 4.

Does the "barbneal" part of the URL have anything to do with the singer of the song, JRand??????

The only thing I can think of is maybe I chose a color that isn't available?

Very bizarre.  When others use "WYSIWYG" and "submit" do you see font sizes and info in your message? I had to erase the extra stuff. And now the message seems okay. Weird.

I don't think so DR Ron - I think she is the one who put the wav files on the site.

No, Ron, it's just a combination of the Web site owner's name and his wife's name. She is Barbara and he is Neal, hence barbneal.

I guess my little snippy fit worked because I finally have a computer that works!  So, now not only can I do work on the computer, I can post on the computer and I can read YOUR posts on the computer, and all is well with the world.

I only answered a handful of my questions yesterday, but I will try to answer whatever I didn't later today or tonight.  It was just impossible yesterday, what with having a computer that froze every three minutes.

I delved into the "About Me" section of the man's Web site. That's how I found out about Neal who lives on Staten Island, and his lovely wife, Barbara and their children. This board is too tempting. I need to concentrate on work and then I must go home and do laundry. I would do it tomorrow, but since tomorrow is Halloween and I live one half block from the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade route (my laudromat is a half-block on the other side of the parade route), I prefer not to be out in that madness trying to cross the street with my laundry.

Gotcha.  Went there and what a treasure trove of .wav files!

Jennifer:  By George (and Ben and Bruce and td and Jason), I think you've got it!

WYSIWYG -- did anyone tell you what this was?  "What You See is What You Get"?

Jason:  I was right at the stage the first time I saw "Wicked" and the lighting set up was astounding.

I was in the mezzanine the second time...and it's so cool seeing those intense lights shine down in a column onto the performers.  I think the lighting in this show is unbelievably extraordinary.

The singer is Imogene Lynn who did cartoon work and also sang with Artie Shaw's band for a time.

The internet is GREAT!!

OMG, JRand, where do you find these things??? The Apple reaches new heights, or depths, depending on your definition of each.

But now that I listen again - it does sound amazingly like Bea Benederet - who is also credited with voice work in the cartoon.  Maybe it's Kate Bradley!

Bea Benaderet

I loved her in so many things. Burns and Allen, all her little guest appearances in things like I Love Lucy and Jack Benny and her great cartoon voice work. What a talent!

TCB--we love you too!!!  :-*

Jennifer--thanks for the Bounce news!  I cannot wait to buy the album...not the greatest Sondheim score ever, but certainly one I'm willing to spend twenty bucks on!

I'm still on the school computer, and kind of paranoid now to go to Click-Smiley.com.  Banner ads of sex smilies keep popping up.  Ummm....no.

Welcome, Maya, to Junior Membership. I'm sure you won't be here long. You will soon join those of us FMs. With this post I reach my full membership and I can do the Full Member dance (though I generally don't dance in public - I did my dancing in the 70s disco days and have made a vow not to do anything resembling that, in public, again)

 ;)   :-*

Now time for my Vanity Post. Full Membership is here! Ah, it was a long, hard post, but I achieved it, nonetheless. I would like to thank the Theatre Wing (I'm a New Yorker, I dreamed about winning a Tony, not an Oscar!), my boyfriend and all the people I saw on the way up. Please treat me kindly if you see me on the way down.

I have been E&T and also T&E because I have been out of town. But now I am back in town and at work. And work is on overload since I had been out of town.  Just wanted to pop in and say hello to all the DRs. I will write more later..

p.s. To those who like David Boreanaz and ANGEL - I have some fun audio and video of David, as he was often my class partner in college during our freshman and sophmore years in college... A great guy then and even more so now...
