Oh yes they were. We were very pleased our guide in Botswana stopped for the birds. On a couple of our day trips off of our cruise we were frustrated to go by them too quickly.

I don't think there are any here now. There was one I'd see just off an expressway in the Bronx, but it's now long gone.

There used to be a Sizzler in Lacey, and at one point it became an all-you-can-eat place. Then at least 10 years ago, the place closed and I'd never heard of one since. $:-\$

The timing might actually be good for me. Books that have to be returned to the library need to be read first. I can now suspend holds for a week or more which is helpful.

We used to go to the Sizzler on Sunday after services....sometimes....if it was too crowded, we went to Bonanza..if that was too crowded we went to Ponderosa....

After he laughed the conversation that followed brought back memories of when I worked in a bank.

I had a few scary moments, police running through the bank with guns and bomb threats requiring us to clear out of the building. Things like that. It was disconcerting enough to think of a robber with a shot gun but we didn't worry about combat rifles shooting everyone. There was the one crazy teller who refused to give the robber any money and started yelling at him. She got lucky he ran.
