George, you told Fred that you are about an hour from Renton, but he is not going to be in Renton, he is going to be in Redmond.

As for last night’s theater, there were a couple of really strong performances, which managed to save an otherwise weak story.

Kyle Sinclair as Black Stache was fantastic, and he really brought the show to life when he was on stage.

My friend, Martin, was also wonderful as Mrs. Bumbrake and the Teacher.

Otherwise, I guess I have now become a grown-up, because my sense of imagination is shot.

Today, I'm working concessions for the Silent Movie Series: Charlie Chaplin Shorts.  I love these silent movies with live organ music.

After the silent movie, I'm going to my parents' house to look at their DVR.  My mom said that there's some problem with the volume control, so I'll go over and check it out.

Last night, we watched an old Technicolor Betty Grable movie, THE BEAUTIFUL BLONDE FROM BASHFUL BEND

It wasn't very good, but it was written and directed by Preston Sturges.

Everything was too over the top, particularly my late, former acquaintance, Sterling Holloway, who the director didn't seem able to control.

I’m ushering this morning (yes, morning) for an insurance company that’s taken over the center for the next few days.

I remember loving that movie as a kid and not being able to watch it as an adult.

Annabelle and Thatch were playing.  He hides from her behind the filing cabinets beside my computer table.  When he was smaller, that was fine, only now he's taller and broader.  Maneuvering around in that narrow space, he pulled the plug to the power strip that charges the computer, lamp, printer, answering machine, from the socket.

It took me too long to move books, bookcases, computer table, and lamp out of the way to reach behind the filing cabinets.  I need to locate a flashlight as well since I was completely in the dark.

I finally reached the pulled plug. got it back into the outlet, and then everything needed to be updated.  According to my answering machine, it's 2016.  The computer and modem had to reboot.  By the time things were back in place, it was after midnight.  I don't think I settled down for sleep until after 1:00.  I got up at 7:00, fed the cats and went back to bed until 8:45 when one of them, climbing on the bookcase behind my bed, brought down a pile of books that knocked the lamp on my reading table to the floor.
