Topic of the Day:  I was not a specific fan of Connie Francis.  I've heard some of her songs and have enjoyed them, though.

I think Annabelle and Thatch have decide to sleep with me in shifts.  Thatch hangs around until 4:30 or so, then he leaves and Annabelle arrives.  I guess they drew straws and decided she was better at getting me out of bed at 6:30.

In 1983-85 I worked for a Canadian book chain, Classic Books, at 48th and Sixth Avenue, where a Gap now stands.

Some time during that period, there was a book signing for Connie Francis.  She was a lovely lady, very friendly to the staff, and I doubt we sold a single book.  That poor lady sat at a table of books for hours, and I would swear that no one stopped or purchased a book.

I must go to Staples this morning to fax some documents to my HMO about that missing payment.  Then, it's a How To Succeed . . . day.

Monday.....some decisions to make about my Mom - but they are ultimately hers.  I just hope she gets to come home in the next couple of days.

It is very difficult to be here without her....but after all....I've had her for almost 68 of her 86 years.

Today is also THE PROCEDURE.....arrive at one p.m. for a two p.m. show.....

I haven't eaten since midnight Saturday/Sunday and I haven't had anything to drink since midnight Sunday/Monday....

I always enjoy Miss Connie Francis, and DR ELMORE's story was very sad for me.  There are a couple of videos of her in the 80's and 90's doing some out of the way casino shows.  The Audiences love her, but she is not up to it.....

Favorite songs:

Where the Boys Are
Lipstick on Your Collar
Vacation
Who's Sorry Now?
Everybody's Somebody's Fool
Lookin' For Love

Favorite movies:

Lookin' For Love
When the Boys Meet the Girls
Where the Boys Are

Favorite albums:

Connie Sings Broadway.....mid sixties with some great songs: "Happiness", "Cabaret", "My Cup Runneth Over" and several more!

The compilations of her greatest hits....

I went to fb to find Keith put up a video of my riding on the back of Bryan's restored vintage motorcycle.   He did most of the work himself.

There was a period this morning, before I spent 45 minutes on the phone with my HMO, where this site was down.  Anyone else have a problem?

Monday morning greetings!  It's kind of gloomy here today.  Richard is continuing a household painting project and I'm continuing the big Momcave clean-up.
