Peggy is now singing Losing My Mind. It's very nice save for the Bacharach-like arrangement - and even that is weirdly fun. I love the song Where Did They Go, too. The purists hate these later Capitol albums and let me tell you what I think of the purists.
Just saw that Nancy Sinatra (Frank's wife) is dead at the age of 101.
I posted this on FB late last night, and the comments are still coming in.The world is in BIG trouble. My wife went to the grocery store today; paid with her ATM card. She's writing the transaction into her check register, and the clerk at the register, a guy in his early 20s, asks her what that was. He'd never seen a check register before.Where do these people come from?
It's on FB if anyone can grab it

I will gladly take some good vibes that we like our new next door neighbor/s. I have no idea who purchased it. Plus fingers crossed if they do any remodeling it won't last any length of time. There are horror stories of year long remodels. While there are time restrictions to when the loud work can be done it is still unpleasant to hear it during the day.
I don't mean why can't you help I mean why don't you go to FB
Magnificat Rescue posted this news about Mego last night: We did it!Mego got discharged from VERG Brooklyn this afternoon and is now on his way to his new foster home, where he will get the finest care and tons of affection. He is being very good in his carrier in the car.He was so funny when the fosters were getting detailed instructions about his care and how to feed him through the tube. He would not stop exploring - he must have been stir crazy after being in the ICU so long - and his attitude was that of a cat who could take care of himself, thank you very much. And then he got into his carrier by himself and announced, "C'mon, people, let's go, let's go, LET'S GO!"Mego is too excited about leaving the ICU to express his gratitude. But all of us at Magnificat would like to thank everybody who has contributed to this wonderful outcome:Dr. DiFazio, Dr. Brida and all the ICU staff at VERG Brooklyn for the care they provided Mego;Mego's many supporters, for your generous donations and your continued encouragement - we truly believe that your prayers and good thoughts helped him get through this harrowing, life-threatening infection;and Kathleen and Mike, who drove all the way to Brooklyn to get Mego and who will foster him until he is completely well. He could not be in better hands.THANK YOU!!!!!!
