Good job, TCB!  Shelly Berman was absolutely known as a stand-up (or sit down) comedian - that was his fame.  His acting stuff was fine, but his fame was as a comic.  His records were huge.  I had them all and I thought he was very funny on them and I did a perfect imitation of him back then.  I used to see him at Jerry's all the time, and then at the Ray Courts show - I bought the CD of his albums and he signed it to me - I found it the other day.  I know he was known as cantankerous and to be negative and irritable.

Okay, I'm listening to the weirdest album EVER - Dorothy Ashby, Afro-Harping - jazz/soul harp with orchestra and charts by Richard Evans.  And yet, oddly enjoyable.

Had a fun three-hour visit with Sami, her mom, and, for a time, her mom's mom and sister.

Impressive, TCB!
I spent hours trying to figure out the answer to the trivia question.
Wasn't even close. 🙄

My favorites are salmon grilled on a cedar plank, and our own local Maryland crab cakes.

Incredible news story about that hijacked plane by a former employee of the airline.
He didn't even have a pilot's license!
Wonder how long it will take before the movie is made.

Thunderstorms on the East Coast.
Have a feeling that DR Chas moved tonight's performance indoors.

Keith was going to get the car washed after the gym today.  It was raining too hard.  We didn't get rain until later.

Thanks, Iris!  Those are at my parents' house, so the thanks are actually from my mom!

In Freaky Friday, the "mom" was driving a car that very obviously had British Columbia license plates.
