Very nice, DR Jrand68.

Growing up in Fort Lauderdale, someone we knew was moving or something and we adopted their parakeet named "Peepit", and he remained a family member for all of his years. He was great to have around, but my one regret was that his former owner had gotten him used to having a little mirror thingy in the cage, and he was addicted to sitting next to it all day pecking and chirping at his image. As I recall, we were told that that would pretty much cancel out any "speech" learning ability of a bird, although I guess parakeets aren't the real talkers anyway. But I did grow to love birds, and it was great years later to get to know and occasionally babysit a friend's parrots in California.

Nice bird story DR CHAS SMITH.

Birdy Barnum looks at the mirror now and then.....but ignores it most of the time.

Yeah, but you only post AFTER she throws up.  If you post BEFORE she won't throw up - she told me.

I only posted AFTER she threw up because she threw up AS I was typing my post and that prevented me from completing my post that I would've posted BEFORE she threw up, but she beat me to it.

I hope you find you have indeed solved the problem.

OMG. This Addams Family I’m subbing next week? The band is two keyboards, bass, drums, and one reed. And no programming, just piano all the way. This will REALLY be a hoot. One for the ages.

And no cuts in the dances or anything. I wonder what it’s going to look like. AND sound like. Perhaps I will gather some evidence.

The mirror guys are here.  Fingers crossed it fits this time.  They are also nervous and don't want to have to do it again.

We have a mirror.  I forgot the light fixture needs to go back up before we are done.  I doubt that will happen until next week.

At last I am having my port removed.  It has been in since August, 2017.

No longer needed for Chemo or other regular blood testing, etc.  Monday is the day.

DR George, I think the cat will be fien now that it's thrown up.

I think so, too.  She seemed fine and this morning, I saw that she had eaten some food during the night. :)

RE: a Broadway Funny Girl revival starring Lady Gaga.

I just googled it. Apparently Rosie O"Donnell announced this. I wonder if it's true.

More believable than the talk of a film version of Cats.

And much more preferred than another film version of Cats. ::)
