After bringing my mom to the airport I came hom, showered, changed and went to church

Then I went back and dressed in my communion assistant alb for the service

To my great joy I had volunteers for both altar guild and coffee hour so after the service I had time for a last goodbye with Sara and was back in the car by 10:30

Vixdad wanted an egg sandwich so I stopped at Ricks Deli, got a coup,e of egg sammiches (scrambled egg and sausage for Vixdad, I've easy with muenster cheese and bacon for me) and indulged in 2 powerball tickets, 2 mega million tickets and 1 cash4life ticket

Then I drive to the office to prepare a closing package, made arrangements with the Closer to meet later ,picked up a prescription for Vuxdad and was back by 1

At 1:30 we set off to my friends church where they were having a "Taste of Home" fundraiser

Chicken pillows : phyllo triangles with a spicy chicken mixture

Artichoke dip served on crackers

For entrees there were

Macaroni and cheese with ham....
Really delicous, creamy, it had nice hunks of ham, sautéed mushrooms and was topped with those French fried onion things people put on green beans at thanksgiving.
