Jan, my knees will be fine.  Fortunately, the kids are not very heavy, and not all of them put their full weight on my knee.

That news from DR vixmom was the best news I had yesterday, even if I did read it this morning.

I am back to City Center this morning.  I'm happy to have the work, but I'm still up to my neck in a financial hole that appears to never let me recover.  And that's my self pity for the day.

I do remember the Gary Hart case somewhat.

He certainly would have gotten the Democratic nomination had it not been for the scandal.

That's pretty much as I remember it. I'm sure the details would become familiar once I read up or watched something on it.

I thought the Gary Hart debacle was kind of the beginning of political candidates as tabloid celebrities in a big way.....his taunt to the press really set them off - and I am happy they obliged him in the way they did.

I don't care to see a movie about it - the real thing was enough.....

I was very disappointed he sabotaged his career and am not sure I want to see the movie though I probably will.

I like a good story.

There are so few of them in the movies these days, which is probably why I don't go any more.
