I do remember the Gary Hart case somewhat.

He certainly would have gotten the Democratic nomination had it not been for the scandal.

I thought the Gary Hart debacle was kind of the beginning of political candidates as tabloid celebrities in a big way.....his taunt to the press really set them off - and I am happy they obliged him in the way they did.

I don't care to see a movie about it - the real thing was enough.....

There are so few of them in the movies these days, which is probably why I don't go any more.
