Getting an all clear on my cancer check up - and getting my port removed....

My return to the stage in a play and two musicals....and directing a fine cast in a Neil Simon comedy.....

Realizing that even though it will be close financially - I will able to stay in my house as long as I wish....

Tuesday morning greetings! Yesterday Rebecca and I had a nice lunch at Cheesecake Factory to celebrate her birthday, which is Friday. She'll be on her way then to Georgia for their grandson's first Christmas, so we celebrated early. When I got home I supervised Richard and Rob setting up our Christmas tree and then Richard and I did our second-to-last grocery shopping before the big day. I crashed last night and am enjoying a slow morning.

Early this afternoon we'll leave to do some errands, make my 3rd visit to the eye doctor in a week and a half, and proceed to Anderson Township for dinner with Richard's brother and his wife. Starting tomorrow I have 4 days in a row at home, which I desperately need.

TOD - road trips! My sister and I had a nice trip to northern Michigan in May. Richard and I had 2 weeks in SE Wisconsin, Central Illinois, and Western Kentucky in May/June and our trip south to catch the Natchez Trace Parkway in October.

Also, our week in NYC in July, which included the DESPERATE MEASURES afternoon that's on so many lists. What fun!

Our safari in Botswana. I had tears of joy many times as we watched the animal up close. Granted at times I was a wee bit nervous since they easily could have jumped into our 4x4. It was a lifetime experience come true.

At 1:15 we took lunch, I did some grocery shopping, came home out away groceries, brought in the mail made lunch, called my mother , caught up here, ate lunch and watched the local news.
