I shall shortly be on my way to the Autry for sound check and show one, and then show two, and then food.

JRand:  Some grammarians think that is an obsolete rule invented by 18th-century teachers of Latin.  Star Trek fans, probably! Till took :-\

I wonder when they were planning to tell us if I hadn't reached out to them  2 hours before we expected them to arrive to confirm our address

And until a christening or burial you do not have to see them.  Ever.

Grammar alert!

In the notes today, MR BK split his infinitive.

If he wears a long jacket, maybe no one will notice.

Well, they do live in the same area as the kids.  Maybe.

We didn't meet Bryan's in-laws until the wedding.  We had a nice time with them, even went out to dinner together.  After returning home we attempted to continue to communicate.  Sometimes they responded and then eventually not.  Oh well.  I do envy people who become family with their in-laws.

My parents and my in-law were not close but they did get along and occasionally got together.  After my mother died my in-law often invited my father over for the Jewish holidays even though we weren't there.

Next up:  It’s not Amicus, though you’d think so by the cast and crew. TALES THAT WITNESS MADNESS. Unfortunately, it gets low marks, but this will be my first time seeing it since ‘73 and I remember almost nothing of it.

Might watch it later this evening. If not, then tomorrow night.

Actually, there’s one more that I’d include in this batch — a later one (1981) that I never saw:  THE MONSTER CLUB. And I don’t have it here so it’ll have to wait.

A heads up for anyone who’s interested:
I was just reminded that tonight is “RENT: LIVE!”, 8 pm on FOX.

As a dinosaur who has never seen any incarnation of it, I’ll DVR this one to watch sometime.

I've packed up How to Succeed . . . for the week, and Annabelle helped me clean off my work table and prepare for my tax prep.  Tonight I will go through my paid statements and organize them.

I saw the original Broadway production of Rent several times, from the original cast through several cast replacements.  I'm very fond of the show, but I'm passing on the broadcast with its interminable commercial breaks.

And on the bad news front, when I picked up the post in my mailbox there was a "pay up or get out" letter from one of the head honchos of the real estate office managing my building.
