I really like the improvements Holland America has made to the buffet.

You no longer serve yourself.  You tell them what you want and how much of each and they serve it up for you.  Much less disease associated with the buffet.

We are watching season 1 of Star Trek: Discovery.

What do you think, so far?

Mixed feelings.  Are you still watching?  The plots have improved.  We do not like the look of the Klingons

I don't think many people liked the Klingons.  I enjoyed the show more than I thought I would, and enjoyed it more as the season went on.  I got a free month of CBS All Access, so I got to see it for free. ;D When the second season has completely finished, I'll wait until I get another free week or month (I continually get those offers) and watch it then.  Or I could wait until the library gets the DVDs.  They got the first season, so I'm sure the second season will be released, too.

I am glad it isn't just us regarding the Klingons.  We do seem to be more interested with each episode.  Right now we also have it for free.  We don't like it enough to pay for it.

And now, I'm finally leaving work.  I needed to clean up the areas around my computer because in the morning, I and several co-workers are each getting a second monitor.  I've never had two monitors on one computer before (nor have any of the people who are getting them), but EVERYONE that I've talked to who have two say that they LOVE having two and can't imagine having only one ever again.  Even my sister has two monitors hooked up to her home computer.  We'll see if I drink that Kool-Aid.

Keith had two for a short while.  It was fun and first and then he didn't want the second one anymore.

And they have some nice new stations.  They have a great salad station with these huge salad bowls.  You tell them what stuff you want, tell them what dressing, and then they toss it for you.

Ken and I just finished pasta and chicken fingers in our room.  Ken went upstairs and snatched some off the buffet.

Good idea.  Usually we snatch snacks for the room or ice cream at night for dessert.

Often we go to the salad bar for lunch, especially if we eat breakfast early and won't have dinner until 7:00.  Normally we don't eat lunch.

I like thousand island dressing.  Since I do not eat it at home I often have it at the salad bars.

I know.  When I had the service for free, I didn't find any other shows that I wanted to watch, and I wasn't going to pay $5.99 a month for just one show.

That's what I'm wondering.  But I figure that I might as well try it, then if I don't like it, I can either just not use it and set it aside, or give it back to the IT department for someone else.
