I find it difficult to imagine being rude to staff at a book store. These are often the people that introduce you to books you might have missed.

I'm up, I'm up - Grant actually called me at ten-twenty, as he was working on the book cover and I'd forgotten to write the flap copy. So, I got up after only six hours of sleep, did that, got it to him, and then laid down again for another thirty minutes, which was pointless. Now, I'm up and must get ready to see a matinee.

After a 4 mile walk I am icing my toe, only because I think I should. It really was more of an annoyance than very painful. I was able to easily walk normally at a good pace, and run stairs.

Watching the Red Carpet. I don't know who the interviewers are. One of them asked Richard E. Grant who he was most looking forward to see. He said "Barbra Streisand." She said "who?" He repeated it and then she said, "Barbra!" I hope she knows who she is.
