Got an ultrasound of my abdomen today, did a boatload of work, made it to the noon Lent service, loaded the dishwasher, got the laundry going and did a really strenuous dance class -- and I really feel as if I haven't accomplished anything today. Seriously.

Once came to Olympia and sold out. It was wonderful! I'm sure that An American in Paris would do really well here.

I had written about food before. I think that helped.

There's no one way to get any job. But if it's a passion of yours, then you'll do what it takes, I guess.

Watching something called B.F.'s Daughter, a Barbara Stanwyck feature from a John P. Marquand novel about a rich man's daughter marrying a poor professor.

Interesting movie. It's very timely. The politics are oddly reminiscent of today.

But what I like about the script is that the bad guy turns into a good one, while the good guy does some stuff that's not great. Gray areas.
