BK, I was reading Last Chance to See by Douglas Adams and Mark Carwardine when Murder at the Magic Castle was released. In the middle of reading LCtS, I actually read MatMC. I then went back to LCtS, which I finished yesterday. As soon as I was done with that, I started rereading MatMC again.

Yesterday morning I got up early and to get my car to the mechanic by 8 when it opened so I could get its yearly state inspection

The pollen count has dropped. My facial bones no longer ache and the pressure is off my sinuses, but I still have a mild headache and my left nostril no longer blocked.

Yesterday I wrote checks for all of my outstanding bills. I hope that blasted recording check arrives this week. It's been four weeks since we recorded.

I got a call from the mechanic saying I needed rear brakes and a new belt, neither of which surprised me...the car is coming up on 100,000 miles

Then after dinner we tried watching Netflix but the internet connection kept getting interrupted...and we were having thunderstorms
