Jrand--thanks, I'm sure I'll be able to find a copy somewhere!  So far, the Bounce review I agree with most is Linda Winer's---mixed, but not as much of a pan as some of the others.

Umm, "RESET FORM" is used to clear the box in which one types the message.  As you learned, Dear Reader Jane, the hard way.

Reset form means you nuke what you have and start over, so don't press that Unseemly thing.  Mr. Mark Bakalor is checking on the Edit Profile function.  Jane and Pogue, once you spend a few days, it will get easy and you'll enjoy it.  There are all sorts of fun things we could never do the other way - photos, attachments, easy links, etc.  No one is more resistant than I, but I'm really enjoying it.

Hello, hello!

Jerry Herman:
It Only Takes a Moment
I Won't Send Roses (which my husband sang to me in the early stages of our relationship, after buying me roses)
Before the Parade Passes By
Put on Your Sunday Clothes

I'm not generally a huge Jerry H. fan, but those are particular favorites.  I loved singing "Sunday Clothes" when I was in Hello Dolly in summer stock, long ago.  I played Ernestina Money.  I was a young student then and we thought it was fun to play games on stage when we were bored, so every night a cast member would challenge me to sing "Sweet Rosie O'Grady" in a particular style (e.g., Ethel Merman, Cher, etc.).  Eventually the Stage Manager decided she'd had enough and ordered us to cease and desist.

Anyone else care to confess unruly games played onstage?  A friend of mine reports that he once caught a Les Miz cast playing Stage Tag.

My goodness, it really does take some time to catch up when you go E&T around here these days!  I spent a wonderful Friday through Sunday in Seattle seeing some friends I hadn't seen in quite awhile, spent yesterday's online time before rehearsal catching up on those days notes and posts, and only now finally have a chance to be up to date and posting!

Jerry Herman:  I'm not a big fan, truth be told.  His stuff usually just fails to grab me.  However, I do love Time Heals Everything.

Jay, LOL.  Fortunately I didn’t loose much.  I was just checking to see what the button did.

I was about to ask “where is everyone” when I came up with the brilliant idea to look for page three.  Now I know we don’t automatically continue on the next page.

Update on the Unpleasant Business:

So once again, I have some specific vibes to request, if you would be so good:

1.  Since one of the charges turns on a fine point of the law and should have been dropped in the first place--but the judge is closed-minded and adamant--I would request vibes to soften his mind and those of the jury on that point.

2.  And, of course, I request vibes leading toward the exoneration of the innocent, resulting in joy and jubilation all around (except at the MacB. estate), followed by "it cost over $ 20,000, but it was worth it."

3.  And a rousing chorus of "Move On".

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ VIBES ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

However, if you could give me a name and address, I'd be happy to send over a friend to have a little chat ;)

Kisses!

Jane, if you haven't discovered the "new" button you must try it.  It will take you directly to the last post you read.  It's marvy.

Let's see... I really want to be a jr. member so I can be a karma fairy to everyone! so... I may be doing little, tiny posts.

Today I just found out that I got my 100$ rebate for my cell phone. That means I don't have to pay for the next three months. Yeah!

Andrea had typed a considerable amount of ~'s without any spaces so that pushed everything to the right on the page. I edited her post and now all should be well.

In addition, the edit profile bug has been fixed and all should be working smoothly.

Am gonna curl up on the couch with my cat and finish watching TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD and then watch MEET ME IN ST LOUIS...two movies that, believe it or not, I have never seen before.

Even though there's no proof, I'm going to take credit for "the power of suggestion" of these two films as I recommended both of them for Halloween viewing and even posted photos!

 ;D

Feel better soon.  I recommend coffee and Harvey's Bristol Creme for a nice pick-me-up/slap-me-down-so-I-can-sleep "placebo."

I have just returned from a busy morning. I went to my new place of employment to chat with my new boss, but he was in a mad rush hurry, and merely said "Drop by on Thursday to check it out, it was really nice to meet you." and dashed away. Later, my brother dropped me off at school, and I rehearsed for about an hour with my choir teacher for my All-District Chorus audition. When everyone else arrived, we drove over to another local HS and waited. And waited. And waited. And then, 2 hours later, I auditioned. And then I waited some more while everyone ELSE auditioned.

The audition itself went really well, the accompaniment was a little fast, but I evened out with her after a few measures. (Laura II, Mrs. Cratch was my accompianist! She gave me a big thumbs up, so I think she recognized me.) I got all of the dynamics and notes, even the "sfz" high A! And the sightreading was an exercize that we had done in class before, so that went really well too. I'll get my score tomorrow morning, so wish me luck!

I don't know from this Herman guy, but I'm learning as the posts go on. You people are so informative!

Just caught up with the Comments by Maya and Donna re Michael Feinstein. No-one is alone. I really thought that I was missing out on something that i could not "Get". Now to wait for Thurday night and point François to those comments. Thanks ladies - you have made my day.

DR JRand, I would buy one of those commercial lens cleaners for CD/DVD players. They don't cost much, but they do prevent the laser lens from getting built up with dust and dirt thus preventing it from reading the discs adequately.

Stop worrying where you're going,
Move on
If you can know where you're going
You've gone
Just
Keep moving on

I chose and my world was shaken,
So what?
The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not
You have to move on.

*My favorite verse*
Stop worrying if your vision is new
Let others make that decision;
They usually do
You
Keep moving on.

Anything you do, let it come from you
Then it will be new
Give us more to see.

So there you go, in no particular order.  Good vibes to everyone who needs them.

So, was it election day where you folks live? We had a mayoral election as well as county commissioners and school board. I set out about 2 p.m. to do my civic duty. I was the only one voting when I got there. I have a feeling we had a small turnout.
