After the sun set, I went to the top of the Willis, originally the Sears Tower. The views were breathtaking.

That is, until I got to the ledge. Hundreds of people ahead of me walked out and had their picture taken. What’s the big deal? I am freaked out by glass floors and this one is 1,353 feet above the ground.

I couldn’t look down. I could barely stand on it looking up.

The guide took about a dozen pictures of me standing and sitting on the ledge, but I was freaked. I thanked him and headed for the elevator before my allotted ledge time was up.

Then I went to a neighborhood Italian restaurant people had been recommending to me, Bruna’s. It’s been in Chicago since 1933. They squeezed me in and took great care of me though the place was slammed.

Just the kind of place I love. Everybody is crammed into a small space. They talking and laughing and loving life and each other. And the food was excellent.

Don’t plan on eating at the Space Needle next time you are in Seattle.  It now has a glass floor, but then it is only six hundred feet high.

I enjoyed the dancing in 42nd Street last night - but I have been  listening to the 1981 Broadway recording so long - that some of the songs seemed a bit off.....and adding that song for Dorothy didn't help because I didn't care for that actress AT ALL.

And because EVERYONE played the show in that over the top wink-to-the-audience style - it was a bit less funny to me.

I am glad George liked the Maggie, I thought she missed a LOT of humor in the part and pushed a bit too hard.....or maybe a LOT too hard....

BUT other than that, I liked it.  Signed Mrs. Lincoln

Well, I'll confess that there was one moment early in the show that I thought Maggie was really funny, and that's when I posted my post.

I not only didn't get my New Yorkers CD, there's no Creature DVD here either. I'm afraid it's time to bring out the big guns. I'm going straight to my attorney general.

How rude! >:(

I don't know any of them, but I know the wife of one of the men, so I knew who he was...but he and I have never actually met.

The set was filled with suitcases and trunks, and the costumes and the few props were taken out of them.

Yup...his musical revue of just random songs.
