Yesterday, I proofread "You Did It," Eliza's reprise of "Just You Wait," Freddy's reprise of "On The Street Where You Live," and "Show Me."  Joshie is doing quite a beautiful job, and I wish I could be at the band rehearsal in two weeks to hear it.

You have probably already explained this, so my apologies for asking, but is this the tour orchestration he's doing?

He did the orchestration for THE KING AND I tour as well, right? What about the London telecast? (Which I haven't listened to yet.) Is that the orchestration as heard in Lincoln Center, or is it Josh's tour one?

Almonds, peanuts, hazelnuts, and oceans are my favorites but I have never met a nut I didn’t like

What kind of nuts are oceans?  Pecans?

Quiet day today.

Being retired has its privileges.

Except I am watching Creature of Destruction.....a terrible Larry Buchanan made in Texas movie......one of a series.....  A remake of The She Creature - not that one was needed.

DR TCB, the second reason for having a different online library card is the wait in a queue.   One library might have 30 holds on a book while the other library has the book available, or only 10 hold on 3 copies.

Then there is simply when you are not allowed any more holds it becomes time to use a different card.

TOD:
cashews, almonds, peanuts, walnuts, pecans, pistachios, and brazil nuts. I don't particularly like hazelnuts.

Mark and I did finally go to Popeye's last week to see what all the fuss was about. The sandwich was okay. We were both disappointed that the outside wasn't crispier.
Meanwhile, Mark went to a new hot chicken place for lunch that's close to where he works. The choices were mild, medium, hot, very hot, and reaper. He order the "hot" and found it was too hot to be enjoyable. I would have ordered the mild. Maybe we'll go together this weekend. I think he needs a do-over.

Tuesday morning greetings!  For today’s excitement we have the heavy-duty plumbers here trying to unclog our basement drains.  Richard discovered the problem on Friday, but they couldn’t get to us until today.  That means we’ve had to limit our water use to flushing and short showers.  We’re out of clean plates and can’t wash dishes, even by hand.  And while they’re working we have to go up the street to the senior center to use the restrooms.

I am not amused.

Oh my.  At least your weather is decent for those walks to use the restrooms.

Not a fun day at all, and you should have been relaxing.

DR Jane, we have to drive to the senior center, so there’s no waiting until the last minute  ;)

This is for ther tour, which begins in several weeks.  Our friend John Bell, who conducted some of the Lincoln Center performances, will conduct the tour.  Joshie's King & I tour orchestrations are those heard in the London broadcast.

My doctor just called me! She asked about the physical therapy situation and decided the best course was to put in another referral for new PT.  We hope this works!

Not for me.  I tolerate them if I can't pick them out of what I am eating.

I admit it took me a few seconds too long to change oceans to pecans.

One of my favorite things at the then-new and popular Cheesecake Factory in Beverly Hills (late '70s) was the Ocean Pie.

Right now I'm eating sausage & peppers from the hot buffet line at Shop Rite. Sometimes a takeout thing like that is the perfect choice.
